What is Shadowrun?
Shadowrun is a table top RPG originally created by FASA. It is owned by Topps Company, Inc and licensed to Catalyst Games Labs for production. Shadowrun takes place in a cyberpunk style dark future where the reemergence of magic has changed the structure of society, corporations, and the fabric of reality itself. Players take on the role of shadowrunners, mercenaries for hire who use magic, cybernetics, and guns to get whatever job they’re offered done.
The table top game is currently in it’s sixth edition, and created several offshoots such as the digital games Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Chronicles and the board game Shadowrun Crossfire. It’s a rich world with over twenty-five years of lore, novels, and games.
