Episode 012 – Harlequin – Getting Physical

We start up on of the great classic adventures this week, with the multi-campaign Harlequin. Harlequin is one of the legendary adventures built to really get players into Shadowrun. The adventure is designed to be played in a series of related adventures over the lifetime of a group’s runs. As the players take part in the adventure they gain clues of a larger meta-plot that’ll be resolved down the road.

I’d also like to welcome another new voice this adventure. Well, new in an old sense. Zendead rejoins Hiddengrid from the player side of the table, taking up the role of Shadowshot. Give him a hardy welcome.

Now, let’s go see what rabbit holes this adventure will make us jump down.

Episode 011 – Food Fight!

In between the sessions of a run, a few players decided they just couldn’t make it and we had some down time. Rather than just not run a game, I ran part of the crew through a Shadowrun classic. Food Fight comes from the first edition core book and it’s even had a 4th edition version we hacked up and pasted 2050 rules onto. It’s a ton of fun and has some lasting effects no one expected.

Enjoy the diversion, and grab something quick to eat with Food Fight.

About The Sixth World Chronicles

Hiddengrid: The Sixth World Chronicles is a Shadowrun Actual Play Series. Hosted by nulloperations, the series takes the SWC players back to the 2050's and some of the classic Shadowrun 1st, 2nd, and 3rd edition adventures from the past twenty years.

Episodes drop Fridays, measuring 1-2 hours in length and covering at most half of a session. Episode recaps show up after all episodes of a session have been posted.

The Classic Episodes of the Hiddengrid are available. These episodes, hosted by the sysop Zendead, featured Shadowrun discussion, gameplay, and aspects of the game from a player perspective. The series ran from 2008 to 2012, and featured a number of co-hosts through the years, including nulloperations
